Wonde provisioning

Sync your school roster with Canva using Wonde. Set up automated syncs and manage user provisioning for your district.

District administrators can use Wonde to sync their school roster (teachers, students, and classes) with Canva. This keeps user accounts up to date automatically. 

Wonde provisioning is supported and set up with help from Canva and requires setup on the Wonde side too.

This guide is for Canva for Districts administrators and owners who manage their school or district’s SSO settings.

Wonde setup requires support from Canva and Wonde. The steps depend on whether your organization is new to Canva or already uses Canva.

Once Wonde is set up, you can manage your sync schedule and rostering settings in Canva.

You can set the maximum percentage of roster changes allowed per sync. If a sync exceeds this limit, it pauses and we’ll email you to review the changes. 

Recommended: 50%

Use the sync schedule to keep your roster up to date. When the sync schedule is on, both daily and weekly syncs will run at your scheduled time. Each sync can take 1 to 4 hours, depending on your roster size.

Wonde provisioning is currently available to a small group of pilot customers, and there are some setups we don’t support yet:

• Standalone schools or trusts without Wonde Enterprise.
• Multiple login systems (IdPs) across schools in the same Canva district. Canva supports only one SSO setup per district. If schools in one Wonde Enterprise use different IdP tenants, they can’t all share one Canva district in this release unless the trust moves to a shared login.
• One Canva district that spans two Wonde Enterprises.
• Multiple email addresses per Canva user (including per-school emails stored on the account).
